2010 Operation Water Festivals

Each year nearly 2,000 BVSD and SVVSD 4th and 5th grade students attend one of two Water Festivals held in Boulder County. Operation Water Festival is a fun, hands-on way for students to discover how drinking water is made, learn how to protect and conserve our water, experience the history, geology, geography and science of water, and encounter the diverse plants and animals that rely on water for survival.

The date of the St. Vrain Valley School District Operation Water Festival, to be held at the Radisson Events Center in Longmont is to be determined.

The Boulder Valley School District 2010 Operation Water Festival will be held Wednesday, May 11th, 2011 at UMC Building at CU Boulder

Water Agent Orientation Meetings:
This important meeting is for Water Agent leaders, parents, and teachers to receive Operation Water Festival curriculum and t-shirts to bring to for their fellow students.

SVVSD Water Agent Meeting: Date to be determined City of Longmont Council Chambers, 350 Kimbark Street.
