Demonstration Project-- Urban Storm Runoff
BASIN is proud to be involved with a cutting-edge demonstration
project and study on urban storm runoff at the Environmental Center of
the Rockies on the southwest corner of Broadway and Baseline in Boulder.
Working with Dr. James Heaney and his graduate students Dave Samples and
Len Wright as well as others involved with the demonstration project,
BASIN will offer data, information and preliminary conclusions about the
Urban storm runoff is a major contributor to surface and possibly groundwater
pollution. This project provides an opportunity to examine how parking
lots, landscaping and design can impact water quality.
